Simple, Healthy Dinner

Did i tell you how much i love a healthy food? Always in mind when i think about what to cook... healthy , fresh ingredients, and healthy cooking technique. If i went out for eating, it's the first im seeking for... HEALTHY FOOD...

Lately i spent a lot of time looking for Non-GMO and organic food back in  supermarket. And i love grocery shopping at Jusco because there was an Organic section where i can find a healthy, Gluten free, Non-GMO ingredients :D. Reccomended Healthy Meals Restaurant is Garden Recipe in Aeon Bandaraya Melaka. it's cozy, the food are super delicious, and of course... good for your health. Have you ever heard Nasi Lemak made with Brown Rice? Have you ever heard a restaurant pick the healthiest Salt to be used in their meals? They choose another sugar than the usual sugar we used daily??? well Garden Recipe is the answer... Worth every pennies...

T.H.E R.E.C.I.P.E

Mixed Herb with Lemon Grilled Chicken Serve with Steamed Vegies and Rice

For Him and for Her

 Ingredients:

FOR THE CHICKEN

3- 4 Chicken breast
half tsp Dried Basil Flakes | You can get it from Bakery Supply shop
half tsp Dried Parsley Flakes | You can get it from Bakery Supply shop
half tsp Dried Rosemary (i used McCormick)
Juice from half lemon
Drizzle of Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO)
3-4 cloves of Garlic - Pounded
Salt & Blackpepper to taste 

1. Put all the ingredients in the bowl, covered, and let it rest for 30minutes.
2. Pan Grilled the chicken until it perfectly cooked. do not overcooked them! Chicken should be tender and juicy... put it on the plate, covered with an aluminium foil...

FOR THE VEGIES

A cauli flower, cut into chunks
Carrots, sliced
Celery, sliced 
2 tbsp Oyster Sauce
1 tsp Worchestershire sauce
Garlic
EVOO
quarter cup water.

1. Steamed all the vegies together. then put on the serving plate,
2. meanwhile, heat the pan we used to grill the chicken just now. Drizzle some EVOO, and throw in the garlic and the celery leaves until soft.
3. Add the Oyster and Worchestershire sauce.  let them for a second and then add the water.
4. let it reduced a little bit. drizzle the sauce onto vegies

Serve both chicken and vegies together with the rice :D



TRANSLATION

Ayam Panggang Mixed Herb dengan Lemon, dihidang bersama Sayuran Stim dan Nasi

Untuk Ayam

3-4 keping dada ayam
1/2 sdteh daun basil kering
1/2 sdteh daun parsley kering | kedua jenis daun ini didapati di kedai barangan bakery, murah dan byk :P
1/2 sdteh daun rosemary kering (saya gunakan jenama McCormick)
Jus daripada setengah biji lemon
Sedikit minyak EVOO
3-4 ulas bawang putih, di tumbuk
Garam dan Serbuk Kasar lada hitam

1. Gaul kesemua bahan, tutup dan biarkan selama setengah jam.
2. Grill ayam hingga masak. Jangan terlampau masak. jika kurang pasti, cucuk garpu pada ayam dan jika mudah tembus, ayam anda sudah masak. Tutup dengan aluminium foil untuk mengekalkan perasa di dalam ayam.


Untuk Sayuran

Bunga kobis, di potong
Lobak merah, hiris
Saderi, di hiris. simpan daun untuk menumis.
2 sdmkn sos tiram
1 sdteh sos worchestershire
2 ulas Bawang putih
EVOO
1/4 cawan air

1. Stim semua sayuran, dalam anggaran 15 minit dan masukkan ke dalam pinggan hidangan
2. sementara itu panaskan kuali gril yang digunakan sebentar tadi dan panaskan EVOO. tumis bawang putih dan daun saderi hingga lembut. 
3. Masukkan sos tiram, dan worchestershire. kacau dan biarkan sos mendidih sekejap. Masukkan air
4. Biarkan seketika sehingga sos agak pekat sedikit. dan curahkan ke atas sayuran.

Hidangkan sayuran bersama ayam dan nasi. Selamat menjamu selera!
